Acta Centre

The Acta Centre is a community theatre that provides open access for all aspiring actors, young and old, and from all cultures, religions and backgrounds. Matt supported the Acta Centre in successfully applying for Arts Council funding to extend the existing community theatre; to provide additional studio space, a bar and foyer area and a remodelled costume store and back stage area.

The project had a tight budget. The emphasis was on maximising space by managing the complex change of levels across the back of the building, to help generate extra mezzanine space, as well as, generating a greater sense of arrival and pre show excitement in the enlarged foyer and bar area.

The project was completed in 2016
