One50studio developed the scheme to planning for the extension of a family home, which was approved in October 2021. This included the provision of a Heritage Statement to satisfy the requirements of  the Whiteladies Road Conservation Area.

The design involved reconfiguring and providing a new garden focussed kitchen and dining area, to help the family enjoy their south west facing garden and their love of gardening. The scope of the project was also intended to ‘clean up’ the rear facade and reinstate some of the original features; removing a three storey metal fire escape that became redundant when the house was converted back to being one house from individual flats. The design was proposed as a highly insulated timber frame with a zinc roof and large skylight.

The project was completed in January 2023.
